This is the content stated in Notice 272/TB-VPCP dated October 22, 2021, of the Government Office on the conclusions at the meeting on solutions to continue supporting businesses in the context of Covid-19.

On September 26, 2021, at the Government headquarters, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired an online conference of the Prime Minister with the business community and localities on solutions to continue supporting businesses in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.

After listening to the opinions of businesses, agencies, and localities, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade to continue monitoring, evaluating and applying solutions to reduce the cost of essential goods such as electricity and petrol.

In addition, there is a specific action plan to improve the ability to take advantage of preferential tariffs of free trade agreements, in order to create favorable conditions for import and export of goods and to handle problems related to these aforementioned policies in the free trade agreements.

At the same time, coordination with the Ministry of Finance is required to inspect the import of materials, goods, and equipment to ensure compliance with legal regulations, contributing to increasing exports and limiting the trade deficit.

Over the past time, the Government has led, directed, promulgated, and implemented many policies for both epidemic prevention and economic development.

Proactively and promptly support enterprises through solutions to create favorable conditions for production, business, circulation of goods, debt restructuring, extension, postponement, exemption, and reduction of taxes, fees, and charges. Extension of time for land rent payment, reduction of electricity bill, electricity price...

The Government will continue to accompany and implement solutions in the highest possible conditions to support businesses and workers, striving to bring the country back to a new normal state soon.
