"2023 Taiwan & Vietnam Industrial Collaboration Forum - Textile Industry" will be held on 14:30 - 18:20 pm, Thursday, Sep. 07^th, 2023 at New World Saigon Hotel, 76 Le Lai St., Ben Thanh Ward, Dist. 1, HCMC with two main topics:
(1) Practice of Net-Zero Emission in Textile and Garment Industry
(2) Practice of Digital Transformation in Textile and Garment Industry

In recent years, Vietnam has become an attractive sourcing destination for many products, including Textiles and Garments. With advantages from skilled workers, and diverse products, also the recent free trade agreements (FTAs) with many countries and regions, more and more importers are looking for sourcing opportunities in Vietnam.

On 5 July, the Commission is proposing rules to make producers responsible for the full lifecycle of textile products and to support the sustainable management of textile waste across the EU. This initiative will accelerate the development of the separate collection, sorting, reuse and recycling sector for textiles in the EU, in line with the EU Strategy for Sustainable and Circular Textiles.
