On the morning of October 28, 2021, the delegation of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), led by Chairman - Mr. Vu Duc Giang, visited and gave money to support Dong Tien JSC due to the fire incident fabric warehouse. The total amount of support is 500 million VND contributed by VITAS and members.
According to Dong Tien JSC's leaders, on the night of October 11, 2021, this company had a fire incident in the fabric material warehouse, most likely due to an electrical short during heavy rain, which destroyed the warehouse an area of 800 m2 at the company's old premises, 10 Phan Trung Street, Bien Hoa City. Immediately upon receiving the fire news, leaders of VITAS and businesses promptly called, gave an ask, and encouraged Dong Tien JSC's difficult situation.
- Mr. Vu Duc Giang and the delegations discussed and shared the company's warehouse fire incident. Mr. Giang said that the occurrence of fire was an unfortunate thing, and no one wanted it. In the past, some textile and garment enterprises had been caught on fire. Those are very profound lessons for every business.
Regarding the future direction, Mr. Giang suggested Dong Tien: Review the fire protection system and strictly comply with the requirements of safety assurance and fire prevention; Both to ensure the prevention of the Covid pandemic, and to have solutions to make a breakthrough, keep growth stable and take care of the lives of workers; Continuing to inherit and promote the achievements and traditions of the previous generation; Building a development vision and strategy, focusing on investing in keeping up with the trend of digital governance and Industry 4.0.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoang – General Director of Dong Tien JSC said that after the incident, the company had timely solutions to overcome the consequences and still ensure the production and delivery schedule. Now, the company continues to implement the Leader's strategy from the previous period, focusing on building and training young staff. At the same time, the company also began to orient towards digitization to apply soon. Expressing his gratitude to the VITAS delegation and Leaders of member enterprises, Mr. Hoang affirmed that the timely spiritual and material support of the leaders of VITAS and textile enterprises would give strength and motivation for leaders and staff of Dong Tien JSC to overcome challenges confidently, quickly stabilize and continue to develop in a sustainable direction.
