The computerised hanger system for Garment & Home Textiles Industries is a flexible material handling system. It is designed as Transportation Systems to work as a helper which eliminate unnecessary helpers and helps sewing operators work efficiently. This would reduce operators handling time to have more time on the stitching. Further, it is a fully automatic flow system that helps to increase quality control. The system is highly flexible and can be modified rapidly for changes in production and expansion. Thus, production productivity will be normally enhanced from about 10% and more in comparison with traditional lines, depending on labour skills, line leader and product type.
Technically, the system consists of overhead conveyors with individual RFID reader in each station. Then, operators input the production sheet into the INA software to help create a route map for the production style. RFID product carriers will find its ways to the correct station for sewing operators to do all the sequential operations until finished garment. It is controlled completely and traceable of components automatically in the manufacturing process. Moreover, INA Systems is being monitored by a computer that provides all necessary data for measuring and managing the process optimally. It helps to control the production process to have on time monitoring to reduce the WIP by about 75%.
