Andritz: 3 new nonwovens lines for Mogul

Andritz Nonwoven, part of technology group Andritz AG, Graz/Austria, has received 3 orders from the manufacturer of nonwovens, Mogul Co. Ltd., Gaziantep/Turkey, to supply 2 complete spunlace lines and one spunjet line (combination of spunlaid and hydroentanglement processes). Delivery of all 3 nonwovens lines is already scheduled for 2016.

One of the Andritz neXline spunlace lines will be installed at Mogul’s new plant in Luleburgaz/Turkey. It is designed with a crosslapped configuration in order to cater to a great variety of end uses, e.g. in the automotive sector, for artificial leather, dry wipes or roofing substrates. Mogul has also decided to invest in a spunjet line for Luleburgaz to produce technical nonwovens from splittable bi-component filaments. 

The 2nd complete spunlace line ordered by Mogul will operate in its new North American facility located in Gray Court, SC/USA. This line, with in-line carding configuration, will produce lightweight fabrics at very high speed for applications in the medical and hygiene sectors (e.g. for wet wipes). Thanks to this new investment, Mogul will be able to better serve its North American customers.
