The ILO Country Office for Viet Nam is seeking a consultant to develop a handbook on sustainable production in the textile and garment industry
for education and training institutions.

In a rapidly changing world, skills development is central to shaping a human-centred future of work. To advance Viet Nam’s development objectives, skilled workers are crucial for increasing productivity and competitiveness, particularly within supply chains. Education and training systems play a vital role in skilling, reskilling, and upskilling the workforce. New skills are essential for adapting to technological advances, globalization, and environmental sustainability. Despite significant efforts by the Vietnamese government towards education and training reforms, including the vocational education and training (VET) system, further improvements are needed.

The assignment aims to develop a handbook on sustainable production in the textile and garment sector, specifically tailored for education and training institutions in Viet Nam.
