Ho chi minh city university of technology and education empowers fashion design students with Browzwear’s 3d design software, vstitcher

By incorporating Browzwear’s 3D fashion design software, VStitcher, into the Undergraduate Fashion Design and Garment Technology Program at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE), the students will gain sufficient knowledge and skill sets in order to succeed in their future careers in the fashion industry.
Browzwear partners with HCMUTE to support training of future designers and technical personnel for the Fashion and Apparel industry in Vietnam, equipping students with state-of-the-art digital technology capabilities amidst the growing demand for a knowledge-based professional career within the industry.   

HCMUTE University and the FFT now include Browzwear’s VStitcher as a core part of its undergraduate and include the concept of “3D Designing “in their official curriculum. Browzwear’s Sponsorship of VStitcher educational licenses as needed, and The Bridgt Atelier, an innovative digital hub focused on bringing digital technology into the manufacturing process, will provide free training to the school with a sponsor for the computer upgrade fee.   



HCMUTE University and FFT (academic unit) are one of the eldest and most reputable education institutions, offering up the manpower demand to enterprises in textile for South Vietnam. So, both BW and Oasis Garment believe that partnering with them is a necessity to convey Browzwear’s values as well as equipped digital skillsets amongst students to meet rapidly growing demands in the industry   
Many businesses mention the need for human resources and knowledge in the 3D digital space, so providing 3D digital knowledge for students at HCMUTE is a faculty priority. And Browzwear is leading the apparel industry to a 3D digital workflow for most Brand and factories of HCMUTE correlated.   

“On behalf of the FFT and HCMUTE, I extremely appreciate the Browzwear for sponsoring the Vstitcher software to serve our training programs. I strongly believe that our cooperation (between HCMUTE and Browzwear) will be stronger and give more benefits for all as well as will develop more quickly the fashion and garment industry in Vietnam,“ says  Mr Nguyen Tuan Anh, Dean of Faculty.
“At Browzwear, we help companies integrate 3D across the entire product lifecycle, from concept to commerce, and we see firsthand that it is quite a challenge for apparel companies to find candidates with 3D skill. We are proud to work with institutions like the University and prepare the next generation of design talent so both they and the companies they go to work for can fully leverage 3D for success,”  as stated by Lena Lim, Chief Commercial Officer of Browzwear.

With this partnership, both 3rd and 4th-year fashion design and technical design students will learn and work on VStitcher software to digitize their designs, better understand garments’ structure, and make suitable materials selections. In addition, product implementation of software allows the students to get the necessary assessment for customization to get the best products. More than that, they also gain a better understanding of the product digitization process from Design to commercialization.  

In addition to specialized knowledge of technical and Design, graduated students from HCMUTE are also equipped with sufficient knowledge on how to apply 3D digital processes to support the garment production process at manufacturing factories and brands or retailers.
