The training attracted 19 lecturers (4 male and 15 female) and aimed to equip them with advanced 3D design skills, modernizing teaching methods and meeting the demands of the digital era.

From August 20 to 24, 2024, the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Vietnam, in collaboration with the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS) and C.S.P Co., Ltd., organized a training course on using the 3D design software Style3D for lecturers from textile and garment training institutions in northern Vietnam.

The training attracted 19 lecturers (4 male and 15 female) and aimed to equip them with advanced 3D design skills, modernizing teaching methods and meeting the demands of the digital era.

Ms. Đinh Mai Hương, a lecturer at Hanoi University of Industry, shared: "Using 3D design software like Style3D helps reduce labor costs and time in pattern-making and modeling." Mr. Bùi Quốc Toản, Vice Rector of Da Nang Vocational College, emphasized: "Introducing advanced 3D tools will not only enhance students' skills but also better prepare them for the future workforce."

This training course is part of the joint efforts by ILO, VITAS, and CSP to modernize and sustainably develop Vietnam’s textile and garment industry, especially as Industry 4.0 demands continuous technological advancements and higher standards.

Enhancing the capacity of educational and training institutions to support industry transformation and upgrading demonstrates the commitment of national partners in implementing the recommendations from the Textile and Garment Industry Skills Strategy, co-developed by ILO and VITAS.

Such training initiatives not only improve education quality but also contribute to the sustainable development and competitiveness of Vietnam’s textile and garment industry in the global market.
