Textile Innovation as the Central Theme

The 2026 edition aligns with Messe Frankfurt's global "Texpertise Focus AI" initiative, which is rolling out across more than 60 textile trade fairs worldwide. In Shenzhen, this translates into two new programme highlights. The Innovation Studio — an extension of The Closet showcase from the previous edition — will feature advanced textile designs, materials, and solutions, helping visitors navigate emerging trends more effectively. The Future Horizons Forum will provide in-depth insights into design, technology, business, and sustainability developments redefining the industry.

Across the show floor, exhibitors will cover the full supply chain spectrum: fibres and yarns, fabrics, accessories, ladieswear, denim, suiting and shirting, functional wear, sportswear, swimwear, and lingerie.

Shenzhen and the Greater Bay Area Advantage

Centrally located in Futian and within easy reach of Dongguan, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong, Intertextile Shenzhen sits at the heart of one of the world's most dynamic textile and apparel ecosystems. The city has been actively developing its position as a fashion-tech hub for the Greater Bay Area (GBA), with AI applied across product design, quality inspection, data management, and digital transactions.

China has also expanded its visa-free policy to 50 countries and regions, with 240-hour visa-free transit available at five GBA ports of entry, easing access for international visitors.

The fair runs concurrently with Yarn Expo Shenzhen and PH Value, offering a comprehensive platform for the entire textile and apparel value chain under one roof.
