Yarn Expo Shenzhen 2026 is scheduled from 9 to 11 June at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian), offering textile enterprises direct access to South China's yarn and fibre supply chain. Building on the previous edition's nearly 40,000 visits from 64 countries and regions, the fair returns with an expanded focus on sustainability, AI integration and functional innovation.
Organised by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd in partnership with the Sub-Council of Textile Industry (CCPIT), the China Cotton Textile Association and the China Chemical Fibers Association, Yarn Expo Shenzhen occupies a strategic position within the Greater Bay Area (GBA), a manufacturing ecosystem that connects upstream yarn and fabric suppliers with downstream production hubs across South China.
The 2026 edition will feature eight themed sourcing zones: International Zone, Cashmere Yarn, Chemical Fibre, Cotton Yarn, Fancy Yarn, Green Linen Yarn, Silk Yarn, and Quality Wool Yarn. The structured layout is designed to support faster supplier matching as global sourcing timelines continue to compress. The yarn and fibre market is projected to reach USD 108.5 billion in 2026, with Asia-Pacific remaining the largest regional segment, according to Research and Markets.
Alongside the product showcase, the fair will host a fringe programme of trend presentations, industry forums, product launches and one-to-one business matching sessions. Yarn Expo Shenzhen 2026 will be held concurrently with Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics and PH Value, together forming a comprehensive trading platform for the full textile value chain.
The fair's mid-year timing is a noted advantage among exhibitors, as it avoids overlap with major overseas trade shows while reaching buyers across Guangdong, the Yangtze River Delta, Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Southeast Asia and beyond.
