US is the world number one cotton exporter. In 2015/16, US exported 2.0 million MT cotton, accounted for 30% of world cotton export.

Each year, Vietnam imports 40-50% of cotton from US.
 

To strengthen the relation-ship between U.S cotton industry and Vietnam textile industry, a delegation from U.S will visit Vietnam on July 25, 2016.

A conference will be held on July 25, 2016 at the Saigon Caravelle hotel to exchange the information about cotton market and price.
